Moeve's Spain-first IPA plant wins Expoquimia 2026 Best in Class

Award and recognition

Moeve received Expoquimia 2026’s Best in Class Award for the construction and commissioning of Spain’s first isopropyl alcohol (IPA) plant. The recognition was presented by Spain’s Minister of Industry and Tourism, Jordi Hereu, during the Expoquimia gala; the company also received a separate recognition for its business strategy, presented by Carles Navarro and accepted by CEO José María Solana.

Strategic and supply impact

The new IPA facility, located in Palos de la Frontera, Huelva, is intended to guarantee reliable, safe, high‑quality access to IPA in Spain and reduce dependence on imports.
