Moeve Chemicals completes global verification for Low Carbon production

Network verification

Moeve Chemicals has completed verification of its global manufacturing network for Low Carbon products. With the Brazil and Shanghai facilities now verified, all of the company's production plants are enabled to manufacture and supply products within its Low Carbon portfolio, strengthening its ability to support customers worldwide in decarbonization efforts.

Products covered

The Low Carbon portfolio is designed to reduce product carbon footprints while maintaining the same quality, performance and reliability as conventional alternatives. It includes NextLab Low Carbon, a lower‑carbon version of linear alkylbenzene (LAB) used in biodegradable detergents, and NextPhenol Low Carbon, a lower‑carbon alternative for phenol and its derivatives used in resins, adhesives, automotive and construction applications.

Verification and traceability

The verification was carried out by AENOR and is supported by Moeve's proprietary in‑house verification system, developed to ensure transparency, traceability and consistency in the allocation and management of renewable energy attributes used across its operations. This approach is intended to give customers confidence in the environmental claims associated with Low Carbon products.
