Recognition

MAIRE was included in the S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook 2026, which lists 848 companies selected from over 9,200 assessed worldwide. The Group received the "Industry Mover" distinction in the Construction & Engineering sector for achieving the most significant improvement in its S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA) score.

Climate and decarbonization

In 2025 Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions decreased by 6% versus 2024, aligning with MAIRE’s decarbonization pathway toward carbon neutrality by 2029. Reductions came from energy-efficiency measures, grid connections, and around 3 MW of operating photovoltaic capacity, alongside an offsetting pathway via carbon credits.

Technologies and resources

MAIRE’s proprietary technologies helped avoid 1.2 Mt of CO2 emissions in 2025, supporting a target of 4.5 Mt avoided by 2028. The Group also launched water-management initiatives—including treatment and desalination at sites—that enabled reuse of over 90,000 m³ of water and produced about 20 technical solutions for efficiency and reuse.

People and governance

On social and governance matters, MAIRE obtained UNI/PdR 125:2022 certification for gender equality and expanded training focused on operational and digital transformation and the energy transition. The 2026 Summer Internship programme will include 30 students, among them six refugee students, and the Group continues initiatives for worker wellbeing and local community support.
