MAIRE S.p.A. has announced that its subsidiaries, Integrated E&C Solutions (IE&CS) and Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS), have secured new contracts totaling approximately USD 260 million. These contracts have been awarded by international clients primarily located in Europe, Asia, and South America.
Project Details
KT-Kinetics Technology, a subsidiary of MAIRE, has been awarded an IE&CS contract by PKN Orlen, a Polish multinational oil refiner and petrol retailer. The contract involves the construction of a pre-treatment plant at the Płock Refinery in Central Poland. The project is scheduled to last 24 months and aims to process vegetable oils, used cooking oils, and animal fats to produce renewable diesel, also known as Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO), for both domestic and international markets.
Technological Integration
NextChem, part of the Sustainable Technology Solutions business unit, will serve as the technology integrator for the project. This unit will be the first of its kind in Poland and is expected to contribute significantly to the country's decarbonization efforts, aligning with EU directives.
