Fleet and logistics upgrade
Lhyfe has added 10 Hexagon Purus Type IV containers to reach an 84‑unit fleet of Type IV tube trailers, operating four container sizes and two compression levels to suit varied customer needs. The company also secured 15 container storage sites across Europe and partners with four specialised hazardous‑materials transport providers; it has certified and trained 60 drivers for hydrogen container operations.
Production capacity and certification
Since commissioning its first site in 2021, Lhyfe commissioned three further production sites (including a first German site in Baden‑Württemberg in 2025). All four sites obtained RFNBO certification in 2025. Installed electrolysis capacity stands at 21 MW and is set to rise by 70% in 2026.
Market rollout and volumes
The enhanced logistics supported Lhyfe in surpassing 1,000 deliveries in 2025, supplying green hydrogen across nine European countries. The Group completed more than 850 deliveries in Europe during the year (an increase of over 80% versus 2024), averaging 55 deliveries per month and serving roughly 60 clients across mobility and industrial segments.
Systems, partnerships and impact
Lhyfe complements its physical network with digital bulk‑management tools (forecasting, filling planning, compatibility management, production monitoring, carrier scheduling and customer information). It works with third‑party local producers to cover uncovered regions and cites avoided emissions of 4 million tonnes of CO2 since 2021 (excluding sourced green hydrogen). Hexagon Purus shares a strategic industrial shareholder, Mitsui & Co., with Lhyfe.
