Essent N.V. is a Netherlands-based energy supplier headquartered in ’s-Hertogenbosch and a subsidiary of E.ON SE. The company supplies electricity, natural gas and heat, along with related energy services, to residential, commercial and industrial customers across the Netherlands. Its activities include energy sourcing, trading and portfolio balancing.
For industrial customers, including the chemical sector, Essent provides structured power and gas contracts and risk management, facilitates procurement of renewable electricity (such as through power purchase agreements), and supports decarbonization via efficiency, electrification, heat solutions and pilot projects involving renewable hydrogen and other low-carbon technologies.
