Oil Delivery
NC KazMunayGas JSC (KMG) has delivered its first batch of Kazakh oil, totaling 85,000 tonnes, to a Hungarian refinery. This marks a strategic expansion of cooperation with MOL Group.
Transportation Route
The oil was transported by sea from the port of Novorossiysk to the Croatian port of Omisalj. The national carrier Kazmortransflot, a KMG subsidiary, managed this leg of the journey using its tanker Alatau.
Pipeline Transfer
From Omisalj, the oil will be transported to the Százhalombatta refinery in Hungary via the Adriatic oil pipeline. This pipeline is operated by the Croatian company Jadranski naftovod (JANAF).
Future Cooperation
Upon the tanker's arrival in Croatia, representatives from KMG, MOL Group, and JANAF met to discuss further cooperation. A Framework Agreement was signed between KMG and MOL Group to facilitate future oil deliveries.
