Contract Details
Lhyfe has signed a multi-year contract to supply over 200 tonnes of RFNBO-certified hydrogen to Hyliko's stations in the Paris region. The contract, effective from November 1, 2025, extends their existing partnership and includes the supply for a second station set to open in 2027.
Hydrogen Standards and Certification
Lhyfe's hydrogen is RFNBO-certified, meeting the European Union's most stringent standards for renewable hydrogen. This certification makes it eligible for the French TIRUERT scheme, which incentivizes the use of renewable fuels in transport.
Impact of TIRUERT Scheme
Once the TIRUERT decree is published, Hyliko can issue certificates for the RFNBO hydrogen, generating additional income. This mechanism could lower the hydrogen price by approximately four to six euros per kilo at the pump.
Infrastructure Expansion
The second hydrogen station will be located in Tremblay-en-France, near the Roissy logistics hub and the A1 motorway, supporting decarbonized goods transport in the region.
