FDA Approval
On July 21, 2025, GENOX received a No Objection Letter from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for its 3T/h Food-grade HDPE Washing Line. This approval confirms the system's capability to recycle post-consumer high-density polyethylene (rHDPE) for use in contact with dry food, meeting FDA's stringent food safety standards.
Recycling Process
The HDPE Washing Line involves several steps: preliminary selection to remove sediment and metals, pre-shredding and washing to eliminate soil and dust, centrifugal drying and Z-type sorting to reduce impurities, friction washing to scrape off surface impurities, rinsing to remove stubborn stains, and final sorting to achieve an impurity rate of less than 2% and moisture content below 1%.
