Key highlights
  • Order value is in the low three‑digit million euro range and booked in ANDRITZ’s Q1 2026 intake.
  • Paper machine capacity 350,000 t/y, web width 7.5 m, design speed 1,200 m/min.
  • General Emballage’s first in‑house paper line will produce testliner and fluting from recycled furnish (100% OCC).
  • ANDRITZ supplies complete line: stock preparation, PM (headbox and gap former), winder, automation/digitalization, spares and service, with targets for low fresh water use and high energy efficiency.

Project and order

The order value is in the low three‑digit million euro range and is included in ANDRITZ’s order intake for the first quarter of 2026. The investment establishes General Emballage’s first paper production line to produce testliner and fluting grades.

Machine specifications

The paper machine is specified for 350,000 tonnes per year, a web width of 7.5 metres and a design speed of 1,200 metres per minute.

Technology and process

ANDRITZ’s scope covers the complete paper production line, including stock preparation optimised for 100% OCC, roll covers and machine clothing. The core PM supply centres on a two‑layer PrimeFlow AT headbox with accelerating tube design and a PrimeForm TW shoe‑blade gap former to enhance mechanical properties and dewatering of the recycled furnish.

Automation, digitalisation and sustainability

The supply includes the Metris Automation & Digitalization All‑in‑One platform, an operator training simulator, Procemex quality and material‑tracking systems, high‑performance NAF control valves and a fully integrated DCS. The line is designed to minimise fresh water consumption, maximise energy efficiency and ensure high plant availability through advanced automation and digital solutions.

Stakeholder comments

General Emballage’s CEO said ANDRITZ was chosen for its technology and responsiveness and expects a long‑term partnership. ANDRITZ highlighted the project as a demonstration of its commitment to supplying complete, sustainable paper production lines.
