Chevron Announces Leadership Changes
- Frank Mount and Patricia Leigh to retire in 2026 after decades of service.
- Jake Spiering and Molly Laegeler to assume new roles in August and March 2026, respectively.
- Jeanine Wai and Gerbert Schoonman to take on new positions in April 2026.
- Kevin Lyon to become Chief Strategy Officer in March 2026.
Leadership Retirements
Frank Mount, President of Corporate Business Development, will retire in November 2026 after 33 years at Chevron. Patricia Leigh, President of Supply & Trading, will retire in July 2026 after 35 years of service. Bruce Niemeyer, President of Shale & Tight, will retire in October 2026 after 26 years with the company.
New Appointments
Jake Spiering, currently Director of Investor Relations, will become President of Corporate Business Development on August 1, 2026. Molly Laegeler, Chief Strategy Officer, will succeed Leigh as President of Supply & Trading on March 1, 2026. Kevin Lyon will take over as Chief Strategy Officer on the same date.
Additional Role Changes
Jeanine Wai will become Director of Investor Relations on April 1, 2026. Gerbert Schoonman, currently Senior Executive Advisor for Hess Integration, will succeed Niemeyer as President of Shale & Tight on April 1, 2026.
