Credit Agreement Details
Boliden has secured a EUR 1,000 million revolving credit facilities agreement with a consortium of 12 banks. The agreement is divided into two tranches: a five-year tranche of EUR 500 million and a three-year tranche of EUR 500 million. Both tranches offer two one-year extension options.
Replacement of Existing Facilities
This new agreement replaces Boliden's previous revolving credit facilities totaling EUR 850 million. The previous facilities included a EUR 450 million tranche maturing in 2029 and a EUR 400 million tranche maturing in 2027.
Bank Involvement
BNP Paribas and Danske Bank served as Coordinating Bookrunners and Mandated Lead Arrangers for the new facilities, with Danske Bank acting as the Facility Agent. Other banks involved as Mandated Lead Arrangers include DNB Bank ASA, Nordea Bank, Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken, Swedbank, Bank of America Europe, Bank of Montreal Europe, Deutsche Bank Luxembourg, ING Bank, J.P. Morgan, and Royal Bank of Canada.
