Induction into the Hall of Fame

Jolen Stein, Senior Director of People Services at BASF's Geismar site, has been inducted into the 2025 Women in Manufacturing (WiM) Hall of Fame. She is one of 12 leaders recognized for their significant contributions to the manufacturing industry and support for women in the field.

Career and Contributions

With over 20 years in manufacturing, Stein is responsible for strategic direction in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Medical Services, Workforce Development, Communications, and Public Affairs at BASF's Geismar site. As part of BASF’s Manufacturing Steering Committee for North America, she provides leadership for the region's manufacturing workforce strategy.

Recognition and Selection

Stein and her fellow inductees were nominated by colleagues and industry peers, with the final selection made by a judging panel of WiM Executive Committee Board Members. The selection criteria focused on their contributions to advancing women in manufacturing.

WiM Hall of Fame and Summit

The WiM Hall of Fame, established in 2019, aims to honor those making significant impacts in manufacturing. Stein and the 2025 inductee class were officially welcomed during the 15th annual WiM SUMMIT, held in Chicago from October 12-14.
