Andrew Cosslett has been appointed as the Non-Executive Chair of Johnson Matthey's Board, effective after the Annual General Meeting (AGM). He succeeds Patrick Thomas, who steps down at the end of the AGM.

Experience and Roles

Cosslett brings a wealth of experience, having held senior roles across various sectors, including consumer goods, hospitality, and media. His previous positions include Chair of ITV plc, Kingfisher plc, and the Rugby Football Union (RFU), as well as CEO of InterContinental Hotels Group PLC and Fitness First.

With a strong track record in leading transformational change and delivering shareholder value, Cosslett's expertise is expected to support Johnson Matthey's strategy of becoming a more focused and efficient business, emphasizing sustainable cash generation.
