Trinseo's ALTUGLAS™ R-LIFE™ VML-H CR50 is a high-performance polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) material that incorporates 50% chemically recycled content. This innovative material has recently achieved UL Yellow Card certification, confirming its compliance with key industry standards.

Flammability Standards

The certification verifies that ALTUGLAS™ R-LIFE™ VML-H CR50 meets flammability standards as per UL 94 and IEC 60695-11-10. It has received an HB rating for both 1.5 mm and 3.0 mm thicknesses, with IEC ratings of HB75 for 1.5 mm and HB40 for 3.0 mm.

Thermal Performance

In terms of thermal performance, the material complies with UL 746B standards. It has a Relative Thermal Index (RTI) of 50°C for electrical strength, mechanical impact, and mechanical strength, applicable to both 1.5 mm and 3.0 mm thicknesses.
