ISO 9001:2015 Certification

Trinseo's polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) depolymerization plant in Rho, Italy, has achieved ISO 9001:2015 certification. This certification is a globally recognized standard for Quality Management Systems, awarded to organizations that demonstrate consistent quality, efficiency, and a strong customer focus.

Recycling Process

The Rho facility is dedicated to converting PMMA waste into recycled methyl methacrylate using depolymerization technology. This process underscores Trinseo’s capability to produce high-quality recycled monomers that meet the performance needs of demanding applications.

Global Certification

In addition to the Rho plant, Trinseo's facilities in Mussolente, Italy, Saint-Avold, France, Bristol, Pennsylvania, and Louisville, Kentucky, also hold ISO 9001:2015 certifications. Trinseo's corporate certification extends to more than a dozen other facilities worldwide.

Transition to New Standards

Trinseo transitioned to the latest ISO standards in 2018, becoming one of the first global companies to serve customers based on the integrated ISO 9001:2015 certified Quality Management System.
