Contracts signed

Air Liquide and ArianeGroup renewed their strategic industrial partnership with two new contracts to support the Ariane 6 operational phase.

Scope of deliveries

Air Liquide Engineering & Technologies will supply critical cryogenic equipment necessary for manufacturing and propulsion, with deliveries covered up to Ariane 6's 42nd flight. Separately, Air Liquide Spatial Guyane and ArianeGroup renewed a gas supply agreement securing propellants—specifically liquid hydrogen and liquid oxygen—and other critical fluids required for safe ground operations and rocket ascent.

Role in industrial ramp-up

The two agreements are intended to support ArianeGroup's current increase in Ariane 6 production rate following the completion of initial flights, aiding the launcher’s industrialisation and continuous ramp-up.

Track record

The renewed collaboration draws on over 50 years of Air Liquide support for successive Ariane launcher generations and leverages the company's experience in space cryogenics and gas supply and management.
