Strategic Agreement

ADNOC, Masdar, XRG, and Microsoft have announced a strategic agreement to enhance AI deployment across ADNOC's value chain and support Microsoft's global AI and data center growth. This collaboration was revealed at the ENACT Majlis in Abu Dhabi, prior to ADIPEC.

AI and Energy Integration

The agreement aims to integrate AI into ADNOC's operations, leveraging Microsoft's advanced AI tools and upskilling programs. The partnership will explore a joint innovation ecosystem to create transformative solutions for the energy sector.

AI Deployment and Training

ADNOC was the first energy company to implement generative AI enterprise-wide in November 2023 using Microsoft Copilot. Since then, over 40,000 employees have completed AI training, achieving utilization rates above 90% and gaining over 70,000 hours per month in productivity.

Collaboration Goals

The collaboration seeks to advance sustainable energy projects and infrastructure, supporting Microsoft's AI and data center expansion. It reinforces Abu Dhabi's position as a global energy innovation hub, combining ADNOC's industrial leadership, Microsoft's digital expertise, and Masdar and XRG's clean energy capabilities.
