New Biomass Plant in Huelva
The Counselor for Employment, Business and Commerce, José Sánchez Maldonado, has announced that Grupo ENCE will begin construction on a new low-emission biomass power plant in Huelva. This plant will have a capacity of 50MW.
Support for Enterprises
The “Agencia de Innovación y Desarrollo de Andalucía” (IDEA) has opened calls for enterprises and companies seeking support. This initiative is available not only to those already operating in the region but also to new entrants.
Environmental and Economic Impact
The new power plant will feature state-of-the-art environmental technology. It is expected to significantly boost economic activity and create employment opportunities in the area. With the plant operational, biomass consumption will rise to 400,000 tons per year, contributing to a total installed power of 140MW.
