New Plant Construction
Total Cray Valley (TCV) has commenced construction on a new C4 chemical manufacturing plant in Carling, France. The facility will focus on producing liquid polybutadiene, significantly expanding TCV’s production capacity and enhancing its global market position in polybutadiene production.
Production Capacity and Timeline
The new plant will have the capability to produce several thousand tons of liquid polybutadiene annually. It is scheduled to become operational in October 2016, marking a significant milestone in TCV’s expansion strategy.
Global Distribution Network
This facility will be TCV’s fifth manufacturing plant dedicated to this product line. The addition of this plant will strengthen the company’s existing global distribution network, ensuring a more reliable supply of polybutadiene-based functional additives for various markets and applications.
