Agreement Overview
TotalEnergies' Cray Valley has entered into an agreement to supply Continental with ISCC Plus-certified Cleartack® and Ricon® resins. These resins will be used to increase renewable materials in Continental tires while maintaining safety and performance.
Production and Source
The Cleartack® and Ricon® resins are produced at TotalEnergies’ Carling site in France. The bio-feedstock for these resins originates from vegetable oil or used cooking oil processed at TotalEnergies’ biorefinery in La Mède, France.
Supply and Distribution
Cray Valley will distribute these resins to various Continental tire plants across Europe, supporting the production of more sustainable tires.
