Zhongyuan Petroleum Exploration Bureau Co., Ltd. (Zhongyuan Petroleum), also known in industry as Zhongyuan Oilfield, is a Chinese oil and gas exploration, development, and oilfield services enterprise based in Henan Province. Affiliated with Sinopec, it operates and services the Zhongyuan Oilfield, supplying crude oil and natural gas to regional refining and petrochemical markets.
The company’s activities span the upstream value chain, including geological and geophysical surveying, reservoir evaluation, drilling and completion, logging and testing, production operations, and enhanced oil recovery. It also provides engineering construction, pipeline and surface facility installation, and related technical services and oilfield chemicals. Through these operations, Zhongyuan Petroleum contributes hydrocarbon feedstocks and natural gas that support China’s fuels and chemicals production.
