Yangzi Petrochemical Co., Ltd. (扬子石化有限公司), commonly known as Yangzi Petrochemical (扬子石化), is a major petrochemical producer based in Nanjing, Jiangsu, China. The company is part of China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation (Sinopec) and operates an integrated petrochemical complex along the Yangtze River.
Its operations span steam cracking, aromatics, and downstream chemical production, supplying olefins (such as ethylene and propylene), polyolefins (polyethylene and polypropylene), aromatics (BTX), and related intermediates used in plastics, fibers, and rubber. Yangzi Petrochemical also provides feedstocks and utilities to adjacent chemical facilities and joint ventures in the Nanjing area.
