Union Chlorine LLC is a chlor-alkali manufacturing company incorporated in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Established in 2013, it operates a dedicated production facility in the ICAD 3 zone of the ZonesCorp specialized economic zone, employing state-of-the-art membrane cell technology and distributed control systems for efficient and environmentally compliant operations.

The company produces a range of chlor-alkali products including caustic soda flakes (over 99.5% purity), caustic soda lye (50%), hydrochloric acid (31-33%), sodium hypochlorite (15%), and calcium chloride anhydrous granules (94-97%). Commercial production began in the fourth quarter of 2017 with an initial capacity of 70 tons per day of caustic soda, supported by an on-site laboratory for quality control and a dedicated fleet of road tankers for distribution.

Union Chlorine LLC functions as a joint venture, with 48.8% ownership held by Oman Chlorine SAOG, a publicly listed Omani chlor-alkali producer, alongside partners including Horizon Energy LLC and additional investors. It primarily serves the oil and gas, water treatment, desalination, and industrial sectors in the UAE and broader GCC region, positioning it as a regional supplier of essential chemicals derived from chlor-alkali processes.
