The primary objective of Terravent is to invest in the generation of renewable electricity from onshore wind power with a long-term perspective. Over the years, it has built a portfolio of wind farms contributing to Europe's clean energy supply. In 2020, following an initial investment phase, the company paused new acquisitions for portfolio consolidation but has since resumed activities, including recent acquisitions such as the Sassenberg-Füchtorfer Moor II wind farm in Germany expected to produce around 70 GWh annually.

Beyond traditional wind energy, Terravent has positioned itself as an infrastructure developer in integrated hydrogen solutions. In 2026, it joined a consortium including Calderion and WenCo Family Office as an investor in the scaling round for Berlin-based Graforce GmbH, supporting the industrial scale-up of plasma pyrolysis technology for low-carbon hydrogen, syngas, and carbon removal. This reflects its commitment to sustainable energy transitions and decarbonization technologies compatible with existing industrial infrastructures.

With strong backing from Swiss energy sector leaders and expertise in project development, Terravent plays a role in advancing renewable energy and emerging clean technologies across Europe.
