Abu Dhabi National Energy Company PJSC (TAQA) is an Abu Dhabi–based integrated utilities and energy company. Publicly listed, it is primarily focused on power generation and water desalination, alongside ownership and operation of electricity and water transmission and distribution networks in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. TAQA also holds an international portfolio of power and water assets across multiple regions.
In addition to its core utilities business, TAQA has maintained upstream oil and gas interests in select geographies. The company plays a significant role in providing reliable energy and water infrastructure that underpins industrial activity in the UAE and abroad, including demand from petrochemical and broader chemical sectors.
