Sinopec Natural Gas Company (中国石油化工股份有限公司天然气分公司), established in June 2005, is a wholly-owned subsidiary of China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation (Sinopec). It specializes in the natural gas business, operating under a "one institution, three brands" model with Sinopec Natural Gas Co., Ltd. and Great Wall Gas Investment Co., Ltd.
The company manages the construction, operation, and maintenance of Sinopec's natural gas pipelines, LNG receiving terminals, storage facilities, and related infrastructure. Its activities encompass nationwide natural gas procurement, storage, transportation, market development, sales, and joint ventures for local networks and terminal distribution, covering over 25 provinces.
With more than 15 headquarters departments, 29 affiliated units, and assets exceeding RMB 100 billion, it supplies over 50 billion cubic meters of gas annually, generating operating revenues above RMB 1,100 billion. Sinopec Natural Gas plays a key role in China's energy security and the transition to cleaner fuels.
