The firm operates integrated production facilities with annual capacities exceeding 1.1 million tons of synthetic ammonia and 1.7-1.9 million tons of urea, alongside methanol and other derivatives. Through group subsidiaries, it also produces biochemical items such as glucose, sorbitol, mannitol, trehalose, and vitamin C, as well as pressure vessels and equipment. It maintains self-operated import-export rights and serves domestic and international markets across Asia, Africa, and beyond.

Originally developed from the Shouguang fertilizer plant and restructured as a private joint-stock company around 2000, it forms part of a larger group established in 1997 that includes multiple production and trading entities. The company ranks among China’s top chemical and fertilizer manufacturers, recognized for energy-efficient processes and as one of the country’s top 100 chemical enterprises. It has pursued technological upgrades, including a recent grassroots urea plant project in Shouguang adopting Stamicarbon’s Ultra-Low Energy design for reduced steam and water consumption.
