S 54 sp. z o.o. is a Polish limited liability company (sp. z o.o.) established in September 2020 as a special purpose vehicle (SPV) to originate, develop, and construct the New Butadiene Extraction Unit at ORLEN’s Production Plant in Płock, Poland.
Originally owned by Synthos S.A., the company was fully acquired by ORLEN S.A. in December 2025 for an enterprise value of approximately PLN 692 million. It processes C4 streams from upstream olefins production to extract high-purity 1,3-butadiene and raffinate-1 for petrochemical use.
The entity remains active and is now a subsidiary within the ORLEN Group, with its registered address associated with Płock operations (Chemików 7, 09-411 Płock).
