Sinopec Qilu Petrochemical Company (legal name: 中国石油化工股份有限公司齐鲁分公司), commonly known as Qilu Petrochemical, is a major subsidiary of China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation (Sinopec) located in Zibo City, Shandong Province, China. Established in 1966, it spans 24.8 square kilometers and operates as a super-large integrated refining, petrochemical, fertilizer, and chemical fiber manufacturer utilizing petroleum, salt, coal, and natural gas processes.
The facility features a 10.5 million tons per year crude oil refining capacity, 800,000 tons ethylene, 1.1 million tons synthetic resins, 450,000 tons caustic soda, alongside production of rubber, benzenes, alcohols, urea, and 500,000 kW cogeneration power. It produces over 120 petrochemical grades, including gasoline, kerosene, diesel, polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), polyvinyl chloride (PVC), synthetic rubber, and fibers. Key products like butanol/2-EH, styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR), and ethylene-method PVC rank among China's top producers.
