The Port of Huelva (Autoridad Portuaria de Huelva) is a deep-water seaport on Spain’s Atlantic coast in Andalusia, at the confluence of the Tinto and Odiel rivers. It is one of Spain’s leading ports by liquid-bulk throughput and serves as the maritime gateway for the Huelva–Palos industrial complex.
The port specializes in energy and chemical logistics, handling crude oil and refined products, LNG, industrial gases, basic chemicals, and other bulk commodities alongside mineral concentrates and general cargo. Its outer harbor hosts dedicated liquid-bulk and gas facilities and extensive storage, with pipeline connections linking terminals to nearby refineries, petrochemical plants, fertilizer producers, and the Atlantic Copper metallurgy complex. Container, ro-ro, rail, and highway links integrate the port into Iberian and international supply chains, supporting import of feedstocks and export of finished products for the regional process industries. The port authority provides land for industrial development within the port estate and collaborates with operators on safe handling, environmental controls, and interoperability across terminals.
