matterr is a recycling technology company focused on chemical depolymerization of polyester (PET). It develops processes intended to convert mixed and difficult-to-recycle polyester waste, such as textiles and multilayer packaging, back into molecular building blocks that can be reintroduced into existing polyester production to make virgin-quality materials.
By enabling high-quality recycled feedstocks and integration into established supply chains, matterr targets applications in packaging and textiles and supports the transition to a more circular, lower-carbon polyester value chain. The company works with industrial partners to advance and scale its technology from pilot to commercial use.
