The project will produce green hydrogen and ammonia in Sines, Portugal, using renewable energy. It includes electrolyzers, nitrogen production, and storage, with a final decision expected by March 2024.

The project in Sines will now produce 150,000 tons of hydrogen and 1 million tons of green ammonia annually, creating 265 permanent and 6,000 indirect jobs, and supporting EU decarbonization goals.

The project in Sines will use 500MW of electrolysis to produce 50,000 tons of green hydrogen and 500,000 tons of green ammonia annually, creating 200+ jobs and supporting Portugal's National Hydrogen Strategy.
