Itero is a European technology company focused on the chemical recycling of end-of-life plastics. It develops and operates pyrolysis-based processes that convert mixed and hard-to-recycle plastic waste into circular hydrocarbon products, such as naphtha-range oils, waxes, and gases. These outputs serve as feedstocks for new plastics and chemicals, enabling closed-loop solutions across the polymer value chain.

The plant will process 27kt of waste plastics annually, offsetting 20kt of fossil resources and creating 40 jobs, supporting the transition to a circular plastics hub in Limburg.
The plant will convert 27,000 tonnes of plastic waste into oils, wax, and gas, reducing emissions. It will create 30 local jobs and aims to expand with a larger commercial plant in the future.
