Its mission is to stimulate investment, innovation, exports, and high-value job creation across all regions of Quebec. The organization supports businesses of all sizes through tailored financing solutions—including loans, equity investments, loan guarantees, and tax credits—as well as advisory services on digital transformation, technology, and international expansion.
Employing around 1,300 people, Investissement Québec operates via regional offices, Investissement Québec International for foreign direct investment and exports, and specialized subsidiaries like Ressources Québec for natural resources and energy projects. It has backed initiatives in mining and battery materials, such as equity investments in Nouveau Monde Graphite's Matawinie project.
