Hüttenwerke Krupp Mannesmann GmbH (HKM) is an integrated steel producer based in Duisburg, Germany. The site operates the classic blast furnace–basic oxygen furnace route with upstream raw-material preparation and continuous casting, producing pig iron and crude steel.
HKM manufactures slabs and round steel (blooms) that are supplied to flat-steel mills and the tube and pipe industry, including producers of seamless pipes. Its output supports sectors such as automotive, machinery, and energy. Located in the Rhine-Ruhr industrial region with port and rail access on the Rhine, HKM is positioned for large-scale, continuous operations and just-in-time deliveries to nearby customers.
