FATA SpA

About FATA EPC

FATA S.p.A. is an Italian engineering company specializing in turnkey Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) services for complex industrial plants. Established in 1936 in Turin as a manufacturing facility, it delivers customized solutions for power generation (renewables, fossil fuels and combined cycle), energy infrastructure including HVDC transmission links, aluminum smelters and downstream processing facilities, petrochemical and chemical plants, and other diversified industrial projects.

Headquartered in Pianezza near Turin, Italy, the company operates worldwide with a strong emphasis on health and safety, environmental compliance and social sustainability. Its core FATA EPC business unit focuses on full-scope EPC contracts, particularly in the chemical sector (such as chloro-alkali plants), power and metals industries, leveraging over 50 years of project execution experience across diverse geographies and cultures.

Since March 2016, FATA S.p.A. has been a wholly owned subsidiary of the Danieli Group, a global leader in metals industry plants headquartered in Buttrio, Italy. Prior to the sale by Finmeccanica (now Leonardo S.p.A.), it operated as part of that defense and industrial group with international subsidiaries. This structure positions FATA as a specialized EPC provider within the broader metals and industrial plant engineering sector, supporting clients in sustainable industrial development and energy transition projects.
