Enosis is a French SME specializing in biological methanation technologies to produce renewable e-methane and biomethane by recycling biogenic CO₂ from biogas plants with on-site renewable hydrogen from electrolysis.

Founded at the end of 2014 in Toulouse by Vincent Guerré and Stéphane Palmade, the company develops and supplies modular systems (equipment and microbial cultures) that integrate with existing agricultural or waste methanization units. These solutions increase renewable gas output by approximately 57-70% or more on the same site without additional biomass, while capturing CO₂ and supporting grid injection of certified renewable gases.

Enosis acts as project developer and coordinator for initiatives such as CouplHyNG, a pre-FID retrofit project selected under the EU Innovation Fund for biomethane and e-methane co-production in France. Its flagship Denobio demonstrator in Lesquielles-Saint-Germain (Aisne) began injecting e-methane into the GRDF grid in 2025 and achieved ISCC EU RFNBO certification, making Enosis the first French company with this status.

The company operates mainly in France with ambitions for Scandinavia and other European markets. Shareholders include KIC InnoEnergy (since 2018), UI Investissement, Industrya, and Banque des Territoires. With a team of around 11-12 engineers and doctors, Enosis positions itself in the Power-to-Gas and renewable gas industry through partnerships, including with John Cockerill, focusing on flexible, sustainable solutions for carbon neutrality and energy storage.

Also known as Enosis Energies and ENOSIS SAS.
