The company’s flagship product is the HYPR Plant, a fully integrated, pre-engineered solution available in 80 MW to 120 MW configurations that incorporates power conversion, gas processing, water treatment, and thermal management. This modular approach aims to reduce total installed project costs by up to 60 percent and accelerate deployment for industrial applications including refining, ammonia and fertilizer production, e-fuels, steelmaking, and chemicals.

Founded in 2020 and headquartered in Devens, Massachusetts, Electric Hydrogen operates a gigafactory in Devens, a pioneer plant in San Jose, California, and a fabrication facility in West Texas. It employs over 300 people with commercial teams in Europe (including Germany), Australia, Brazil, and other regions. The company has raised more than $700 million from investors such as Breakthrough Energy Ventures.

Electric Hydrogen positions itself as an emerging leader in high-power, integrated electrolysis technology, targeting cost parity with fossil-based hydrogen to support decarbonization of hard-to-abate sectors. It has secured projects including exclusive technology supply for Uniper’s 200 MW Green Wilhelmshaven electrolyser in Germany and various U.S. and Australian initiatives.
