Dana-Farber Cancer Institute is a nonprofit cancer research and treatment center based in Boston, Massachusetts. Founded in 1947 by Sidney Farber, it is a teaching affiliate of Harvard Medical School and an NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center. Adult oncology care is provided in collaboration with Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and pediatric oncology care with Boston Children’s Hospital.
Dana-Farber conducts basic, translational, and clinical research across oncology and hematology, including precision medicine, immuno-oncology, and biomarker-guided therapies. The institute operates extensive clinical trials programs and collaborates with academic, government, and industry partners to advance drug discovery and development.
