About BOM

BOM (Brabantse Ontwikkelings Maatschappij) is the publicly backed regional development agency for the Dutch province of Noord‑Brabant. It provides risk capital, business development, and internationalization support to startups, scale-ups, and innovative SMEs, and helps attract and anchor corporate investments in the region.

Relevant to the chemical and process industries, BOM co-invests in and supports technologies that enable sustainable, high‑value manufacturing—including advanced materials, circular and biobased solutions, and low‑carbon industrial energy and heat systems. Acting alongside public and private partners, BOM aims to accelerate the commercialization and scaling of innovations that strengthen Brabant’s industrial ecosystem and contribute to the energy and materials transition.
