Atlantic Copper is a Spanish non‑ferrous metals company focused on copper smelting and refining. A subsidiary of Freeport‑McMoRan, it operates one of Europe’s major integrated smelter‑refinery complexes in Huelva, Spain, processing copper concentrates and secondary materials into LME‑grade copper cathodes.
In addition to refined copper, the company produces key by‑products including sulfuric acid, anode slimes (from which precious metals such as gold and silver are recovered), selenium, tellurium, and iron silicate slag.
