Al Baleed Petrochemical Company is a privately held Omani firm founded in 2023 and based in Salalah, Dhofar Governorate. It is developing a petrochemical park in the Salalah Free Zone to process feedstocks including LPG, methanol, and ammonia into high-value derivatives.
Planned facilities include Oman’s first propane dehydrogenation plant and a maleic anhydride unit. The company has entered technology licensing agreements and secured natural gas and feedstock supply arrangements with local providers.
