BASF Opens New 2-Mercaptoethanol Plant in Ludwigshafen
The new plant, operational since Q4 2021, replaces the 40-year-old facility, maintaining a 10,000 metric ton capacity. It enhances supply reliability for plastics, crop protection, oilfield chemicals, and coatings.
