Lease Agreement Signed
Vulcan Energy has signed a lease agreement for its central lithium plant (CLP) at Höchst Industrial Park, Frankfurt, with site developer Infraserv Höchst. This agreement includes site development and energy supply arrangements.
Production and Process
The CLP will produce sustainable lithium hydroxide monohydrate for battery and automotive production in Europe. High-purity lithium chloride, extracted in Landau, will be processed into lithium hydroxide using green electricity in an electrolysis process.
Timeline and Location
Construction of the CLP is scheduled to begin in the first quarter of 2026. The leased site covers an area of 77,517m2 within one of Europe's largest industrial hubs.
