Uniper has entered into a long-term sales and purchase agreement (SPA) with QatarEnergy for the supply of liquid helium. The agreement ensures an annual supply of approximately 70 million standard cubic feet, equivalent to about 2 million cubic meters, of high-purity helium. This contract is set to last for up to 15 years, commencing in September 2025.

The helium will be sourced from Qatar's advanced facilities located in Ras Laffan. This partnership highlights Uniper's strategy to maintain a diversified portfolio by securing helium from top-tier sources.
