Project
Toray has been awarded an order to supply low‑fouling reverse osmosis (RO) membrane elements for the Changi NEWater Factory 3 (CNF3), a large‑scale used‑water treatment plant in Changi East, Singapore. The plant is being delivered by Sanli M&E Engineering Pte. Ltd. as the design, procurement and construction contractor, and is operated by PUB, Singapore’s national water agency. CNF3 has a production capacity of 50 million gallons per day and is scheduled for completion in 2028.
Scope and support
Toray Asia Pte. Ltd. will supply the RO membrane elements and provide sales and technical support for the installation. The order follows Toray’s prior membrane supply to several NEWater and desalination projects in Singapore and reflects the company’s emphasis on low‑fouling membranes for wastewater reclamation.
