TechnipFMC has secured two subsea contracts from Petrobras for the design, engineering, and manufacturing of flexible pipes. These contracts are intended for use in multiple basins in Brazil.
Santos Basin Project
The first contract, classified as substantial, involves the creation of flexible gas injection risers. This technology aims to sustain reservoir pressure and enhance production efficiency through high-capacity gas reinjection in pre-salt formations in the Santos Basin. The contract value ranges between $250 million and $500 million.
Campos Basin Project
The second contract, awarded after a competitive tender, is significant and involves the design, engineering, and manufacturing of flexible risers and flowlines. These will be deployed on assets in the Campos Basin, with a contract value between $75 million and $250 million.
Manufacturing Location
All manufacturing for these projects will be conducted at TechnipFMC’s flexibles manufacturing facility located in Açu, Brazil. This facility has been a part of TechnipFMC's operations for over 40 years, contributing to the development of local economies in Brazil.
