2025 LNG Deliveries
In 2025, ORLEN delivered over 245,000 tonnes of liquefied natural gas (LNG) to various customers. This volume could supply households in cities with populations of about 200,000 for nearly five years. The LNG was primarily sourced from the Świnoujście terminal, the Klaipėda reloading facility, and ORLEN's own production sites.
Transportation and Distribution
The LNG was transported by road tankers to customers, including private consumers and businesses in areas with limited access to the national gas grid. Nearly 13,000 tankers were dispatched from the Świnoujście and Klaipėda terminals last year.
Source and Production
ORLEN's LNG originated mainly from cargoes imported by sea to the Świnoujście terminal and the Klaipėda facility. The Group marketed 192,000 tonnes from Świnoujście, over 33,000 tonnes from Klaipėda, and more than 20,000 tonnes from its Odolanów and Grodzisk Wielkopolski facilities.
Terminal Utilization and Growth
In 2025, ORLEN fully utilized the LNG reloading capacity of the Świnoujście terminal, with almost 11,000 tankers delivering 192,000 tonnes of gas. Since its commissioning in 2016, nearly 51,000 tankers have been loaded there, totaling roughly one million tonnes of LNG. The Klaipėda facility recorded a 32% year-on-year increase in volumes handled, delivering over 8,000 additional tonnes of LNG.
Key Recipients
Industrial customers across various sectors and private consumers connected to off-grid gas systems were key recipients of the LNG. In areas with gas demand exceeding pipeline capacity, LNG regasification stations helped bridge the supply gap.
