Delivery
On 2 July 2026 SONATRACH delivered its first liquified natural gas supply to Germany at the Wilhelmshaven 1 floating regasification terminal.
Origin and transport
The shipment was lifted at the GL2Z liquefaction complex in Bethioua, Algeria, and transported on board the TESSALA LNG tanker, which is owned by SONATRACH.
Strategic context
